While enroute to the scene E49 was put at reduced speed by 43 Command 43 Command then held the response to Co 43 amp 18 only E49 returned amp was available at this time The company was in service for 15 mins.strongfont

Lieutenant Richard "Dicky" Sullivan Jr. Is diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer since the beginning of June. He has been in and out of the Hospital because he has be unable to keep food and liquids down. They gave him a feeding tube which he is hooked up to for 14hrs a day just to get the nutrients he needs to survive. He is doing chemotherapy and will be starting radiation treatment within the near future. Dicky has not been able to work to support his family and his wife, who'salso a member, Betsy. His son, member Rich III, have been going back and forth to the hospital and doctors appointments with him and they have been missing work as well. Dicky also has not been able to come around the Firehouse and run calls like he use to. He has been a Volunteer FF for Ridley Township for nearly 50yrs. We know he misses it.
