Battle on the Boulevard Donation Given

 June 22, 2017

This week the Battle on the Boulevard Tournament donation was handed out to Crozer-Keystone representatives Frances Sheehan President of the new Crozer-Keystone Community Foundation and Cynthia Reigart MSN Clinical Director of Crozer-Keystone Burn Center. The tournament was held two years ago but due to new ownership of the hospital the check was held until the proper time and placement could take place. Representatives from the Crozer Hospital came to Milmont Fire Company this past Tuesday where the 3400 check was handed over by Milmont Fire Company 49 PresidentDeputy Chief Jay Volpone and Folsom Fire Company 18 Vice-President Michael McKneely. The donation raised from the tournament will be used to help children who are in the burn center with equipment and supplies that are not covered by insurance. Over the past three softball tournaments held a little under 12000 has been raised. Both fire companies would like to thank all those who participated or donated to this worthy cause and although the tournament had to be skipped this year stay tuned for other future events and tournaments.
